Guidelines

  1. Login to your Saral Seva account.
  2. Select “Land Name Correction”.
  3. Enter complete land details (Dag, Patta No., Village, Mouza, etc.).
  4. Upload the current land documents showing incorrect name.
  5. Upload proof of correct name (Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Gazette change etc.).
  6. Make online payment through UPI or netbanking.
  7. Saral Seva verifies your documents.
  8. Application submitted to Circle Office / Revenue Dept.
  9. Correction updated in official land records.

Applicable Documents: Patta, Chitha, Jamabandi, Mutation Records

Documents Required

Aadhaar Card
Voter ID / NRC Extract
Old Patta / Chitha Copy
Jamabandi / Land Tax Receipt
Correction Proof (Gazette / School Certificate)
Passport Size Photo

1. Register / Login on Saral Seva
2. Fill land details accurately
3. Upload ID & land documents
4. Pay service fee online
5. Verification by Saral Seva
6. Application forwarded to Circle Office
7. Field officer verification (if applicable)
8. Name updated in official records

Processing Time: 15–30 working days

Can name be corrected without Gazette?
